What is the reason we are not allowed to change our PW?

If you mean "I want to change my password to be "cool-pilot7" or indeed any other alphanumeric combination of choice then you are out of luck.
On specific occassions, such as a security compromise, it is possible to have a password reset by the VATSIM Membership team. They can be contacted at www.vatsim.net/mememail.php

Hi Mark, most of these are answered in the VATSIM FSInn forum.
Pretty sure the installation instructions does say to put your full name in there, and home airport, I am not sure why that is even there, I have never filled it out personally.
If FSFDT is all red, then I am not even sure how ATC is saying they can't see you since I don't know how you are even talking to them.
Local means that is you talking, it doesn't mean you are in any "Local" mode.
The Load Servers button doesn't seem to work, but you can manually enter the IP you want in there, and you can get the IP from ServInfo or from the Vatsim homepage.

I actually think that's the way it should be, because you can always click on the main forum name right below it to get back to the forums.

One small thing, when clicking the header it directs you to Vatusa.net which can cause confusion and somewhat inconvenience. Maybe it could be possible to have it redirect back to the forum's main page, and have a link to Vatusa.net in the tool bar somewhere. This would clear many things up.
