Come join Fort Worth as we staff up the Delta Airports below the DFW Class Bravo, and experience what it is like to fly under the busiest nonconsolidated TRACON in the United States.

Chicago is a consolidated TRACON, covering both the KORD Class B and KMDW Class C.  There are no other Class C or B airports around KDFW, so it is a non-consolidated TRACON.

Isn't Atlanta nonconsolidated? Or did Peachtree suddenly become a Class B?  ;D

I thought a consolidated TRACON was defined as a TRACON that was combined from multiple other facilities into one. Like SoCal, Norcal, Potomac, or New York.

Also DAL is a class B airport so I'm thoroughly confused by your logic.

Atlanta Large TRACON is consolidated.  It absorbed Macon (MCN) Approach and Columbus (CSG) Approach.  They also own some airspace over AHN.

It is my understanding that a consolidated/large TRACON is characterized by having more than one "Area." In some cases, these "Areas" were previously an independent radar facility that eventually got absorbed/consolidated into the main TRACON. It has nothing to do with what class of airspace lies within the TRACON.

On another note, D10 does more ops (Barely) than C90.

Suck on that Chicago!
