Wes, thank you for all that you've done for VATUSA over the years.  Wishing you the best in your retirement!  Maybe you'll do what I did -- take a year off and then jump back in!

^ This   Yep, as much as some people think BoG isn't paying attention, I can assure you that we talk about pilot quality, feedback mechanisms, balance, preventing against abuse, and tradeoffs quite often.  And as much as some people think all the BoG cares about is quantity over quality, I can assure you that can't be farther from the truth! 

Simon was just appointed in his role, and has read this with significant interest.  He is new to the conversation at the BoG level, but is jumping in with both feet.  I, and many of us, look forward to what will come.

Not from my perspective.  An empty slot on the calendar means no event.  I just guess I couldn't get my old-school brain wrapped around no event on a Friday night   Now I'm recalibrated    Don't mind me, I'll just shuffle back to my dusty old rocking chair in the corner.  Where's my afghan? 

Quick question -- there's nothing on the calendar for FNO tonight -- so I assume it's an Open Mic Night, but you know what assume means...   Is that correct?  Would there normally be something on the calendar to specify Open Mic Nights, or are we no longer doing that?  Thanks!

Congratulations on your appointments.  You have all been entrusted with a great responsibility -- to grow this hobby by making it better and more enjoyable for all of our members, ATC, Pilots and Both.  I wish you all the best of luck and success in making this vision a reality.  It is so great to see VATUSA getting better, day by day!
