This thread is intended for Controllers who have the Oakland Oceanic Endorsement or Endorsement through the Pacific Partnership.  With the addition of Vpilot as a client for pilots to use a minor issue has come about.  Many Vpilot user's profile will show that they have SELCAL enabled and will also have a SELCAL code.  However when activating SELCAL, the feature does not alert the pilot.  I have noticed this with only Vpilot users and do not know whether the issue is isolated solely to Vpilot users or if it is a issue that effects all users.  In the event that you attempt to activate a pilots SELCAL and they do not respond back, follow up with a Private Message or the use of the Contact Me feature.

Thanks Mark. That explains a few things, pilots had mentioned that before, I just thought they had something configured wrong.

I have not as I am not sure if it is just a VPilot issue or if other programs are affected.
