Hi, I'm very excited about this event. I looked over the Oshkosh NOTICE and I'm wondering if you plan to have ATIS and Fisk Approach available with potentially cycling through the Transition Starting Point VPENV, VPPLK, or VPGRN? That would be so awesome!

Marc -- having flown in VATVENTURE a couple times, I can attest that the ZAU controllers take every pain possible to recreate the event with procedural fidelity.  The ATIS is human-recorded and traffic levels do occasionally merit them directing pilots via the various visual transitions.
Cheers,
-R.

Thanks for confirming. I'm now doubly excited for this event. Can't wait!

Bump! The event starts in just over a week! We have added a banner, a sponsor (TPC) and what was formally called a NOTAM, now a NOTICE. It is very important that all pilots flying into OSH for VATVENTURE read and understand the document in its entirety! Thanks all! Can't wait to see you all there!

the link for the MSFS 2020 is missing a hyphen between runway and dots. so it gives a 404 error when you try to download.

Hi, the link for FSX/P3d isn't working. Is it a permission issue? Thanks.

Also; I have to copy and paste it into the browser. Clicking the link in the PDF only gives me part of the URL. I'm guessing because the rest of the URL is on the next line.

Just thought I would throw this out here.

I will be instructing again this year at the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center.

https://www.eaa.org/airventure/features-and-attractions/special-attractions/pilot-proficiency-center

There has always talk of having ATC of some sorts,  specifically mentioned was Pilot Edge, but it just never happens.  The EAA has built a 30,000 sf facility of which one floor is dedicated to this sim center.

I would be happy to provide liaison
