On behalf of the VATSIM North America Region and Region Director Nicola Felini, I am please to announce that Mark Hubbert will serve as the next United States Division Director effective February 3, 2018, upon the retirement of Don Desfosse.
Mark will transition from his current role as VATUSA Training Director.
Upon his retirement on February 3rd, Don will have served as the VATUSA Division Director for five years, the longest-ever term of any VATUSA Division Director. We thank Don for his many years of tireless service, and wish him the best in his impending retirement.

What a great pick for the position! I can't wait to see whats next for our Division here in the USA. Don... Where to begin... Thank you for everything you have done for our Division. Five years ago I would have never in million year imagined we would have accomplished the things we have, we are losing a great leader but gaining another great leader and I believe the vision that has been presented for the last 5 years will continue. Congrats to Mark and Thank You to Don!
