Albuquerque ARTCC is currently seeking applications for Webmaster. The successful candidate will posses a combination of skill and experience required to succeed in the position. The Webmaster reports to the Air Traffic Manager.
The webmaster position at Albuquerque contains a different duty set from most other ARTCCs, due to the ATM primarily maintaining the website. Therefore, any applicants should carefully read the duties/responsibilities before applying.
Primary Duties- Assist the ATM with web projects, occasionally taking on solo projects.
- Maintaining and documenting existing codebase.
- Fielding user requests, confirming bug reports and providing updates to users regarding these.
Requirements- Language knowledge: Intermediate - HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX | Basic (or be willing to learn) - Go.
- Intimate knowledge of version control, specifically Git.
- Knowledge of a MVC framework, preferably Laravel
- Excellent communication skills, including code documentation.
- Knowledge of basic Linux/Unix technologies, including SSH, Bash, cron
Bonus- Advanced level knowledge of any language listed above.
- Graphic design experience.
- Knowledge of web server technologies, including Apache2 and Nginx.
No particular ATC rating is required, however should any non-ZAB candidates apply, they should be aware that a transfer to ZAB will be required to accept the position.
