How do you assume all facilities simulate the required safety logic system?
Not all ARTCCs are training this way.

Depends on what you're meaning by the logic. Are we dealing with the .65 requirement that we don't lock and load anymore with LUAW, or the .65 requirement that we don't lock and load anymore with LUAW that every sector applied for a waiver to that requirement (yeah, that happened!) Or are we talking about logic related to anticipated separation? There's a lot to go into on this one..

Sorry. Was referring to CBT 303.22. A student pointed this out to me. I had assumed that since, to my knowledge, none of the radar clients simulate this we were to not have someone cleared to land with someone in position on the same runway.

I “cheat” for the purposes of the simulation, and for efficiency during events. If controllers are using the vSTARS ASDE-X at equipped fields, I let them use the landing clearances with LUAW rules.

We don’t teach LUAW until major Local Control for this reason.

To ensure we are all on the same page here, the slide has been further limited to only ASDE-X/ASSC facilities with links to a list covering such.

Thank you, clear as mud, the solution I was hoping for.
