Events / Atlanta Real Ops (KATL) {6/29 2200z-0300z}
« on: April 12, 2019, 09:39:52 PM »

Join ZTL in Atlanta as we host our annual Real-Ops event! This event, in the past referred to as Atlanta Live, will be featuring VATUSA’s busiest airport; Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport!
The airport, KATL, which is within 2 hours flying time of 80% of the United States’ population, and features flights to over 70 international destinations in 50 countries around the world, will be fully staffed on June 29th from 2200-0300z (6pm-11pm ET).
To reduce delays (due to staffing), we ask that all pilots flying book their flight at https://realops.ztlartcc.org. Alternatively, pilots flying for select VAs may book a flight through their VA.

ZTL won't be doing our usual Monday Night Madness this month, instead it's a Sunday Night Madness, but we want to keep a similar marketing strategy, so it's a Mon(Sun)day Night Madness. That was a long sentence, but all you need to know is ZTL will staff up Asheville and ZID will staff up Charleston Yeager from 2100z-0000z (5pm-8pm ET) on Sunday, April 28, 2019. We encourage you to make a turn in Charleston and hurry back to Asheville as fast as possible.

Join ZTL as we move some the south's famous peaches between Birmingham Shuttlesworth and Atlanta International! Funny enough, Chilton County, just south of Birmingham, is also known for their peaches! Fly between these two peach-hot-spots and let us know which ones you liked better upon arrival! All pilots are welcome to sample either, or both, airport's peaches. For any questions contact [email protected].

Virtual Airlines / Virtual Flight Economy (VFE)
« on: June 06, 2018, 09:02:21 PM »
After months of development and final touches, I present to you Virtual Flight Economy. What is it?? Well basically it is a system where you can be a pilot and make (fake) money. Fly a flight in the sim connected to the network, log it correctly on www.virtualflighteconomy.net, then get funds added to your account. Build up your money, and make an airline. Buy some planes. Have people fly for you, make them rich, have them turn on you and make their own airlines! And in the future, more features will come for the ultra rich to make them even richer... and well I guess everyone richer too... No programs besides the VATSIM client are required, it is ALL through the help of Google. You can register at www.virtualflighteconomy.net/register. It is 100% FREEEEEEEE. So go ahead and join up and fly some GA in SoCal, or in Denver and hit a mountain, the possibilities are endless. There are no "jobs", just fly anywhere with anything at anytime. Have fun and enjoy!
