Events / The Shenandoah Staff Up

Join ZDC as we staff up the satellite fields in everyone's favorite Potomac sector: Shenandoah! (which, btw, does not include the Shenandoah airport). Come fly your favorite GA plane or business jet into Leesburg (KJYO), Manassas (KHEF), Martinsburg (KMRB), and Hagerstown (KHGR) from 1900-2200z!

Events / Class Charlie Chaos (feat. ZDC Live)

ZDC will be staffing 3 of it's Class C airports for a Saturday night of chaos! We'll will be LIVE from Roanoke, VA, as we staff Roanoke (KROA), Raleigh-Durham (KRDU), and Richmond (KRIC) from 2300-0300z on 11/5. Bring your airliner, biz jet, or GA aircraft and fly to one of our Class Cs starting with R! (Don't cause too much chaos, though :P)

ZDC's annual Capital Christmas event is back for 2022! As the jingle bells ring out and the carols sound, start up your airplane and fly into our nation's capital for an unforgettable Christmas experience. DCA, IAD, and BWI will be staffed from 2359-0400z for your enjoyment. We hope to see you there landing and departing off of our snowy runways!

Events / A Day on the Bay

Summer is in full swing, and there's no better way to spend your Saturday afternoon than flying low and slow along and over the Chesapeake Bay as ZDC staffs up some of the most scenic and beautiful airports on the Eastern Shore. We will be staffing Newport News (KPHF) and Easton Airfield (KESN) for GA enthusiasts who enjoy flying into towered fields, and Norfolk International (KORF) for those airliner pilots out there. Tangier Island Airport (KTGI), a picturesque field situated right in the middle of the Chesapeake, Chesapeake Bay Airport (KCPK), and Bay Bridge Airport (W29) will also be featured for those who like non-towered fields. We hope you join us for a day on the bay!
