I have to ask... and this may sound a little crass... but you don't have a certificate, right? The FAA shows an expired student pilot certificate and no valid medical. Do you have any other RW qualifications?
To go portray yourself as an authority may be a touch misleading.

I can confirm that Derek is an FAA controller.

Derek is a controller at CAE. You can easily verify this through the FAA employee directory.

Sad that there is so much distrust and suspicion that we can't even trust when a bright individual such as Derek, with real-world experience, wants to provide online training/education to others. Let's not go snooping on each other via the Airmen database (note that is an airmen database - ATC certificates are not included...) just because someone offers online Twitch training.

It wasn't distrust, just curiosity. If it was distrust, I wouldn't have asked, but likely rather asserted something negative.
