Adding my sentiments to others,' I wish each every VATSIM member the warmest of holiday greetings and wish all the best and look forward to a prosperous new year!

For those of you who celebrate it as a holiday, and also for those that don't, I'd like us all to take a moment to give thanks.  

I'd like to give thanks...

... to our families
... to those that keep us safe from harm's way
... for being as fortunate as we are.  If we have a computer and high speed internet access, we are doing so much better than so many in this world who struggle to keep a roof over their heads and food in their mouths.
... for those that share peace and love in this world
... for those that have brought, and continue to bring us VATSIM, free of charge
... for being part of such a wonderful team as we have at ZBW.  We ebb and flow, and get stronger and weaker over time, but we are made up of a great group of people and come together as a strong and wonderful family.

May we all be thankful, grateful, loving and sharing, and may we all have a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving.

FAA To Ban Plane Crashes
OCTOBER 30, 2011 | ISSUE 47•43

WASHINGTON—In what officials are calling "a much-needed policy shift," the Federal Aviation Administration announced this weekend that it would ban all plane crashes. "After a careful review of flight data from the past 25 years, we've determined that customers, pilots, and the airlines themselves would benefit significantly from a strictly enforced no-plane-crash policy," said FAA administrator Randy Babbitt, adding that pilots involved in fiery plane wrecks could face a steep fine or even suspension. "The practice of crashing an airliner into an ocean or mountain will no longer be tolerated. American consumers deserve better." According to industry sources, most commercial airlines are planning to fit in as many crashes as possible between now and Jan. 1, when the ban officially goes into effect.

In response to your last post that they must be at a solid, accessible place... Why don't we ask them if we may, or if they can upload these videos to Youtube, something that is always accessible due to the fact Google will always have the resources to keep it up... Just a thought

Most of the videos used on the VATUSA Training Resource Center are hosted on servers NOT owned/operated by VATSIM/VATUSA. That file you list is on a server belonging to the University of North Dakota and appears to be no longer available on their web system.

We'll see if it can be retrieved and hosted somewhere else and update the link as appropriate.
