Events / Events: Tell us your thoughts!

Good Morning from the VATUSA Events Department!

A lot of event work gets done behind the scenes between my office and the ARTCC's. Sometimes I forget that there is the rest of you all out there! I am reaching out to hear your comments/opinions/suggestions for VATUSA events.

Are the events monthly adequate to what you would like to see?
FNOs: Are the times working out so there is ATC online when you want to get in? or take off?
Is there certain types of events you would like to see more?

These above are just some quick questions I thought of, please ask ANYTHING you would like. I look forward to what the community has to say!

Looking for ARTCC support for your group flight? Or for your Virtual Airline? We have a easy simple to use solution for you! Instead of trying to find ARTCC websites, staff emails, etc...Here at VATUSA we have a system that will make your job easier!

If you would like to get in contact with ARTCC staff the easiest/quickest way will be using the Support Ticket System on VATUSA.net

Here is a quick guide:

1. Go to VATUSA.net
2. Click on Support - Open New Ticket
3. From the pull down menu select ARTCC
4. Select EC from the staff menu
5. If no EC is in position select other staff or Unassigned to send to all staff
6. Write message

Please join vZTL ARTCC in this last minute event! Rightfully called Minute to win it!!
Let's have some fun flying in our two busiest airports, Atlanta (KATL) and Charlotte (KCLT) We will provide full staffing to each on this Saturday evening. Some suggestions would be to go KATL to KCLT and back! Or go to many other destinations offered in/out of both airports. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Friday Night Ops: Atlanta-Ham!!!

Location: KATL-KBHM

Come and join the vZTL ARTCC in this unique FNO between two of our great airports. This time we will be featuring the KATL and KBHM airports! With only 115NM apart this will become a quick showdown between the two airports! With both airports fully staffed you will be able to enjoy the same level of ATC you expect out of vZTL controllers, as well as the opportunity to fly some short quick flights, or some longer ones into either of the airports. We look forward to seeing you there!

Come and join vZTL ARTCC on Friday July 17, 2015 at 2300z for FNO: Atlanta Live!! Atlanta Live has been a long running tradition in the vZTL ARTCC and for those who know what its like, its a blast! We strive to simulate for 5 hours what its like to fly in/out of KATL. We call this Atlanta Live not because our controllers are meeting up for a "live" controlling event, but because we are simulating how live we can make Atlanta!

Please come and join vZTL ARTCC in celebrating Delta Airlines 86th Anniversary of its first flight!! Taking place back on June 17, 1929 this will mark its 86th year in operation. Show your support for our long time, hometown airline Delta!!
