If I where you I would start small, you have a total of 33 members, and only 7 of them have logged a flight, but you have 9 staff members!

I don't know if you really need 2 more staff positions yet. I would recommend that you use this formula to figure out how many staff member you should have, [#of pilots / 50]+ 1(the ceo).

See if you can merge many different staff roles into 1 position, one of the operations development guys could also run events and on of your hubs.


You have a very nice website, and the graphics are great! I think that your airline will go somewhere.

Until I saw this I never realized how close to the airport you stay while in the pattern, I used to go 3 or 4 miles out on my downwind.

While the situation is serious, VATSIM has not been "hacked" as such. This guy has been launching DDOS attacks against numerous VATSIM-connected servers, resulting in them becoming unstable and periodically going offline. The .net forums have been taken down as a precaution because of an attempted attack against individual members through said forum.

I signed it but I doubt it will have any effect on the guys at Microsoft.

ACES studies closing might not be such a bad thing after all, the flight sim market will become really competitive with companies like x planes fighting for the share of the market that ACES had.

Those of you who were at the CTP briefing heard about the VATSIM issues. Last night, the VATSIM servers were attacked by someone rendering them unstable at best. This person also did some funny business with the VATSIM Forum as well that is helping to spread it.

Until you hear differently, DO NOT ACCESS THE VATSIM FORUMS!!!

As for the network, you can log on, but it is spotty so be patient. This was all after some fixing, etc. that took place by Richard Jenkins until 3:00 AM. So they ARE working on it, BE PATIENT and please...
