Okay, so I'm new to the forums, but not to vatsim by any means.  When I initially got into vatsim, I was a pilot that wanted to try my hands at controlling.  I have applied to a ARTCC (won't mention names) on two occasions, but have never heard anything back from them on what is required for me to get started.

The only email that I do ever receive is that I've been booted for not taking on any accomplishments to get started.  My thoughts on this are scattered, because I don't know what to do.  I have wrote people that I have been told to write to try and get pointed in the right direction, but have uninstalled ASRC twice now, because I have no where to train or belong to.  Could someone PLEASE send me either a reply, or an email pointing me in the right direction??  I would like to dabble in controlling but have already had two bad (in)experiences due to lack of direction.  Thanks a lot.

Nick

Nick,

You are not currently assigned to an ARTCC. Do you have one in mind that you would like to join? If so, you will need to go to http://www.vatusa.net/www/public.php?mod=request_transfer and transfer into the ARTCC of your choice.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Well, it just went from bad to worse.  I just went back to the application page, and it wanted to make me take the exam again.  I blew through it thinking that I've already done this before, and it said that I failed, so now I can't even get back in to try and apply for a domain.  Why would I have to take this exam if I've already been well past this part before?   It's getting confusing again.  Do I have to wait til' Aug 3 to really take that test again, or is there a way that this can be overrode since I've already done it before?  If I'd have known that I would have stopped and actually guessed at the questions, but didn't think it was mandatory if I've already completed it once.  Any thoughts??

I'll look into it and let you know shortly.
