Just wanted to say thanks for a great FNO.  I even didn't mind the 32 minute wait to get into my gate or the 1:22 wait to get out of KLAX (much ).  Was a fun time, everyone did a great job.  Thanks for another great Friday night on VATSIM!

To celebrate the launch of Audio For Vatsim, ZLA will staff the San Diego sector of SoCal and Santa Barbara TRACON.

The two areas offer lots of flights for both GA and commercial airplanes, with many uncontrolled airports to explore the capabilities of the new voice unicom.

Thanks for flying with  us as well. You and your friend knew your stuff when it came to VFR flying which was great. That helped, especially when about half the pilots who jumped in last minute clearly needed work on basic piloting, knowing the parts of a pattern, etc.

Roger, it means that saying: “Las Vegas Approach, DAL123, descending to 12’000 with Charlie” is wrong.
We need to know your current altitude, in order to verify the mode C readout on our scope.

After we have that, knowing your assigned altitude is further info to better expedite the traffic flow.

Hello, will it be at 1559P or 1659P? The banner says 1659P but that corresponds to 0059z so I guess it will be 1659M.
