« Last post by Dave Mayes on September 16, 2023, 07:55:59 AM »
HCF is very happy to announce that after a long anticipated wait,  Joe Forti has been appointed to the position of DATM at HCF!

Joe has served on the HCF staff previously as Training Administrator and now brings even more experience with him from his "Real World"  job as an Air Traffic Controller.  I look forward having Joe in the "right seat"  and help administrate and provide guidance to our facility.

Please join me in welcoming Joe back to HCF and to congratulate him on his new role of Deputy Air Traffic Manager at HCF!

News / Oakland Has a New ATM!
« Last post by Brandon Wening on September 15, 2023, 11:38:27 PM »
Please join me in congratulating Andrew Selder as the next ATM for the Oakland ARTCC! Andrew is excited to continue leading ZOA as he moves up from his current role as the Oakland DATM. His passion for the ZOA community, willingness to lend a hand when needed, and ability to step up and lead by example will surely aid him and his staff as they oversee the Oakland ARTCC moving forward. I am confident that Andrew and his team will be able to uphold the standards of being a ZOA member while fostering a fun, positive, and educational environment for all to enjoy. Congrats Andrew!

I would email the staff at theZFW ARTCC directly as they are more likely to see that than a forum post.

Not sure what their events department has in the works but that sounds like an amazing idea!

Events / Re: Please reconsider single-facility FNOs...

On a separate topic, one additional thing I appreciate is the placement of "placeholder" events on the calendar indicating in general terms what FNOs are on tap.  For nutjobs like myself who literally plan what sorts of flights I'll be doing earlier in the month based on what events are coming up later in the month, it's good info to have.  Thanks sincerely for that.

You are welcome, Robert. It was long overdue.
