You may (or may not) know that our previous webmaster in VATSIM-UK used to run a prediction/betting system for the Euro and World Cup seasons. I've decided to continue the tradition and have finally completed the system and input all the data.
For those of you that wish to play, please navigate to
http://www.vatsim-uk.org/worldcup/ and login with your VATSIM CID and Network password. Your data will be retrieved and you're free to start making your predictions and joining the leagues as you see fit.
This is open to anyone who's registered on VATSIM - not just the UK guys (and gals)!

Scoring is as follows:
* For not making a prediction/bet, you will not be penalised; but
* If you make a prediction/bet and you are wrong (i.e, you predict the loosing team would win) you will loose one point.
* If you place a prediction/bet and guess the correct winning team (but the wrong score), you'll receive one point.
* If you place a prediction/bet stating it'll be a draw and the final result is a draw (regardless of the score), you'll receive two points.
* If you place a prediction/bet and get the correct score you'll receive three points.
* If you place a prediction/bet and get the correct score and it's a draw, you'll receive five points.
* Some matches allow you to place a prediction/bet on the half-time score - getting this SCORE correct will gain you an extra two points.
