Please join me in congratulating Matt Bartels on his appointment as the newest VATUSA Events Manager. Matt most recently served as the Events Coordinator at the Minneapolis ARTCC, a role he thrived at for the last two and a half years. Welcome to your new role, Matt!

The competition for this role was intense and proved to be a very hard decision for us. There were several very qualified people willing to take on this role. To all of the extremely talented and dedicated people that applied, I would like to thank you for volunteering to step up and take on this role.
