Purpose:
The Fort Worth ARTCC is currently seeking a highly motivated individual who will provide effective management of the ARTCC’s data services, including but not limited to: web content development and services, discord management, and email systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Air Traffic Manager and Deputy Air Traffic Manager
- Develops, manages, and oversees Web Services, APIs, E-mail, and other systems
- Responds quickly to website and data system needs
- Develops policies and procedures for operation and maintenance of the ARTCC web and data systems
-  Forms, oversees, and manages the ZFW Web Team
- Other duties as assigned by the ATM or DATM
 
Basic Requirements:
-  Supports the Fort Worth ARTCC’s mission of “Creating professional controller’s, maintaining a high degree of integrity” while creating and maintaining open and accepting community.
-  Serves as a leader to coach and motivate controllers while upholding a culture that builds exceptional internal and external pilot experiences.
- Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
- Supports the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse range of talented people.
- Strengthens others through consistent feedback while driving productivity and morale.
- Holds self and others accountable to high performance standards while providing pilots with memorable experiences.
- Partners in the development of strategy and helps to translate into specific priorities, objectives, and action plans.
- Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities.

Additional Requirements:
- Must have at least a Student 1 (S1) rating
- Must be an active member of the VATSIM network in good standing with no significant disciplinary history
- Must be proficient in modern web programming languages and techniques, including, HTML, MySQL, Java, CSS.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must display leadership qualities
- Must be available for regular correspondence (via the primary means of e-mail), as well as routinely checking VATUSA forums and other outlets for official notices
- Be able to meet all activity requirements as outlined in ZFW General Policy and all sections thereof (as appropriate).

This position requires a significant commitment to ZFW and VATSIM. Role and responsibilities may change as needed.

Purpose:
Fort Worth is looking for a motivated individual that possess a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Facilities Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Deputy Air Traffic Manager and Air Traffic Manager
- Oversees the creation and management of facility controlling files.
- Manages the Facility Engineering team.

Requirements:
- Supports the Fort Worth ARTCC’s mission of “Creating professional controller’s, maintaining a high degree of integrity” while creating and maintaining open and accepting community.
- Creates and maintains data on the vNAS (CRC) website. Must be willing to learn the software needed and work with other facility staff to ensure completion is complete prior to CRC/vNAS rollout.
- Maintains and updates sector files for all approved ATC client software, updating at least every AIRAC cycle.
- Maintains vATIS configuration files.
- Maintains POF and alias files.
- Coordinates with adjacent ARTCCs as required, specifically relating to frequency issues.
- Ensures established LOAs are fully represented within sector files and other procedures.
- Performs other facility related work as directed by the Senior Staff at ZFW.
- Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
- Supports the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse range of talented people.
- Holds self and others accountable to high performance standards while providing pilots with memorable experiences
- Ability to listen to feedback and take constructive action.
- Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities.
- Be able to meet all activity requirements as outlined in ZFW General Policy and all sections thereof (as appropriate).
- Must have knowledge of VRC, vSTARS, and vERAM. Euroscope not required but is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience (real world or VATSIM applicable).
- Familiarity with the Fort Worth policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates the qualities of understanding, patience, restraint, and professionalism.
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Previous FE experience
- Ability to work with/create Tower Trainer/Euroscope files for training purposes.

- Must hold the rating of Student 3 (S3) or greater. S3 controllers must be willing to obtain their C1 within an agreed upon amount of time once in ZFW.
- This position requires a time commitment of an average of four (4) hours per week working on administrative tasks

- Prior ATC Mentor/Instructor experience
- Teaching/Education experience (on or off VATSIM)
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience (real world or VATSIM applicable)

Fort Worth is looking for a motivated individual that possesses a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Events Coordinator/Department Head.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Deputy Air Traffic Manager and Air Traffic Manager (ATM as needed).
- Oversees a comprehensive ARTCC events department.
- Manages a team of events team members.

Requirements:
- Serves as a leader to coach and motivate controllers while upholding a culture that builds exceptional internal and external pilot experiences.
- Oversees the Events Department and a team of workers to assist in the planning, creation, and execution of ARTCC events.
- Perform multiple functions, including project management, PowerPoint creation, graphic design, etc.
- Assess learning needs accurately and propose creative and effective learning solutions.
- Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
- Works in collaboration with Virtual Airlines and other VATUSA ARTCC’s to leverage synergy opportunities across the United States.
- Coordinates with neighboring ARTCCs to arrange support for ZFW hosted events, and arranges ZFW support for neighboring events.
- Develops and distributes marketing material (graphics, news posts, forum posts, etc) to promote events and the ARTCC.
- Understands and drives appropriate metrics to assess controller performance within the Event’s  environment.
- Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
- Supports the recruitment, retention and development of a diverse range of talented people to fill the roles within the events team.
- Holds self and others accountable to high performance standards while providing pilots with memorable experiences
- Ability to listen to feedback and take constructive action.
- Maintains, updates and manages events policies for events team members and department procedures.
- Ensures that Fort Worth is following all VATSIM and VATUSA events directives.
- Be able to meet all activity requirements.


Preferred Skills:
- Must hold at least an S3 rating (C1 preferred, but not required).
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience (real world or VATSIM applicable).
- Familiarity with the Fort Worth policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates the qualities of understanding, patience, restraint, and professionalism.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and lead a team.
- Dedicate 2-4 hours of event management per week, minimum.

Duties:
Reports to the DATM; ATM as necessary
Maintain active online presence on the website, discord, email, and network
Attends staff meetings as called by the ATM
Creates, maintains and updates PCF sector files, alias files, POF files, and vATIS config files.
Coordinates with PCF and other ARTCC staff to mitigate and manage frequency and automation problems.
Maintains approved facility Orders, SOPs and LOAs, ensuring they are electronically available through the website.
Develops and maintains Quick Reference Cards
Review and recommend the use of other controller tools for implementation within the ARTCC
Any other duty assigned

Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least a Senior Student (S3) rating
Must be an active member in good standing
Be a member of PCF, or willing to transfer upon selection
Be skilled with VATSIM ATC Client software and software involved in technical file creation/manipulation.
Must be able to work in a team environment
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Highly Desired Skills:
Possess a high degree of commitment and motivation
Possess experience and certification within the PCF ARTCC
Have previous Facility Engineer experience
Have experience with software programming

The event will start at 2300z and last until 0300z enjoying a great Friday night of controlling and flying to start a great holiday weekend.
