Title: Down the Coast

You've had enough of the hustle and bustle of commuting using the Caltrain, and want something more peaceful. On October 7th, join ZOA for a scenic evening trip down the Northern California coast. All kinds of bizjets, helicopters, bugsmashers et. al. are welcome!

Note: Half Moon Bay (HAF) is one of the featured airports...and its uncontrolled (meaning there will not be a tower staffed there)! Please review uncontrolled airport procedures if you plan on stopping at HAF.

Featured Airports: Santa Rosa (STS), Half Moon Bay (HAF), Monterey (MRY)
Date & Time: October 7th, 5 PM - 8 PM PDT
Date & Time (Zulu): October 8th, 0000z - 0300z

I'm loving that I feel like I'm seeing more GA-oriented events being hosted, throughout VATUSA.  Kudos to those Events Coordinators who push pilots to visit more than just the same 30-ish airports.  There are so many interesting places to explore!

Agreed!  I love finding staffed Class D airfields.  Hope to join in this event!
