Title: ZMA has a new TA
Post by: Kenneth Bambach on September 13, 2016, 11:49:47 PM
This is one of those bad news / good news scenarios. The bad news is that ZMA TA Ron Henderson has found it necessary to step down as a result of r/w commitments. Ron has done an outstanding job as TA and has improved the Training Dept signifigantly. I wish to thank Ron for all he has done as TA and his commitment to ZMA. Ron will be staying on as an INS however and that is good news!

And speaking of further good news, please join me in welcoming his replacement, Fred Michaels. Fred has been serving as our DTA so the transition for him, and the ARTCC, should be seamless. I wish to thank Fred for stepping up to the position. We are expecting great things from him and I know he won't let us down! Plus, his office has the best stocked bar in the building so all future facility meetings will be held there.

It's always sad to see someone like Ron have to walk away, but it happens. He will be missed.  And it's always good to see someone step into the position who you just know can do a bang up job!

Ron, thank  you for all you have done.  Fred, good luck in your new role. We look forward to seeing all the good things you will accomplish.
