Bob, it was truly a please to have worked with you on several occasions and I really have to say you did an outstanding job as DCRM. You will be sorely missed and you leave big shoes to fill. I wish you all the best for whatever your future may hold and would be very happy to bump into you on or off the network. Thanks a lot!
Ira, what can I say? I said fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride when you were appointed VATUSA2. Maybe now I could say pull on the strap to tighten your belt. It will be an interesting time ahead and I am sure you will do great. I wish you best of luck in your new position come February 3rd. If there is anything I can do to help, I would only be too happy to.

If people wish to revive a thread for the sake of sharing interesting information, I honestly see no reason to suggest that it not be restarted.
I understand your wish to protect the ARTCC and its staff you have been chosen to lead, but the decision when a thread should be or is closed lies solely with the VATUSA staff, not anyone else.

I was not aware that some flight schools use their own call signs, therefore I found the last post by Prithvisagar to be rather interesting and informative.
If there would be a necessity to close a thread, there are people in positions with the keys allowing them to do it. Until such point, the friendly, polite discussion of various aviation related topics, also this one, should be welcomed and supported.

Not only does Daniels assistance and his mindset deserve a huge thank you, but they are a perfect example of how far ahead mutual support and team spirit can take us. As I love to say to VATSIM members - 'if everyone helped one other one, imagine what would be possible'.
Well done and thank you Daniel for your selflessness and helping VATCAN while they were in need. It is heartwarming to see things like this happening.
