Please update roster zny

Hello all,

I just started on vatsim. I completed the basic exam successfull and selected zny as my artcc. It told me they would update the roster the next day. Now i am waiting for a week and still can't log in to the zny site. Too bad.

Hope someone can fix this.

You are on both the ZNY  VATUSA roster and the NYARTCC roster.  I put you there myself on 6/11/11.  You are assigned to JFK.  Welcoming emails were automatically sent to the email you registered [email protected].  You must check and use THIS email for all correspondence with the ARTCC.  

You also must sign up for our forums, a step that would have provided you with all the information you needed about our procedures, and give you a means to contact ARTCC staff directly, instead of posting an ill-conceived complaint in a improper location.

Check the email account listed above for messages from the ARTCC, follow the instructions contained therein, and you'll be surprised how well the system works.

Mr. de Leeuw, according to the records your assignment was issued on 06/11 as was your invitation to your first exam. I cannot address why you dd not receive that information however I strongly suggest that instead of continuing to reply here in this forum that you read this post, fight the urge to respond, and proceed directly to the ZNY web site where your account awaits.

As previously mentioned, your questions can be better answered if you direct them to [email protected].  Continued posts here will not be responded to in a timely manner however direct email usually provokes a respond in fairly short order.  

You may aso wish to drop by the ZNY Teamspeak server and introduce yourself to some of your fellow controllers. They too will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.  The information for TS is easily found in our web site forums.
