Please join me in welcoming Mani Manigault as the newest Northeastern Region Air Traffic Director, VATUSA9. In addition to other roles, Mani has previously served as an Instructor, DATM and ATM at the Washington and Denver ARTCCs. Mani shares the Division's vision to build a strong culture, increase training bandwidth, improve retention and spur growth. I look forward to seeing continued great things from the Northeastern Region.
Some may note that the Northeastern ATD callsign has now changed from VATUSA10 to VATUSA9. The USA10 callsign was legacy from when there were 4 ATDs within VATUSA. I thought it was about time we went back to having our callsigns in consecutive order (7, 8, 9).
