Events / Great Plains Oil Shuttle

Join vZKC on Sunday, September 10th from 2100z until 0000z for Great Plains Oil Shuttle. This event will feature Tulsa (TUL, RVS), Wichita (ICT), Stillwater (SWO), and Ponca City (PNC). Whether you bring your Cessna 172 for dinner at Enrique's in Ponca City, your business jet for service at the Cessna Service Center in Wichita, or maybe even your Embraer 145 to Stillwater, we'd love to have you flying through our airspace. Come join ZKC for "Kansas City BBQ Cookout" on August 4th from 2300z-0300z (6PM CDT until 10PM CDT). KMCI will be staffed for you to fly in and grab some mouth-watering BBQ. Events / ZKC Training Night: Southern Illinois

Join ZKC for our first official training night of the year! We will be staffing KMDH and KMWA in Southern Illinois! The event will be run on Tuesday, May 30th from 2345Z-0245Z (6:45PM CDT until 9:45PM CDT). Challenge our controllers with practice approaches and anything you want to throw at them. We will also try to staff St. Louis with our extra controllers. A pilot briefing is attached to this post.

Join ZKC ARTCC in "A Weekend In The Ozarks" event on Sunday, May 14th from 2100z-0100z. This event will feature Missouri's Ozark mountains and the airports within it. Our featured controlled airports include: Springfield (KSGF), Branson (KBBG), Columbia (KCOU), and Jefferson City (KJEF). Our featured uncontrolled airports include Clark Downtown (KPLK) and Grand Glaize / Osage Beach (K15). A pilot briefing link will be available as a comment on this VATUSA post at least one week prior to the event. The event briefing will include event information, updated scenery links, and more.
