Title: Molokai Shuffle
Post by: 1277499 on October 10, 2022, 08:23:59 PM
Molokai is a beautiful little island just a short hop away from our busiest airfield, Honolulu! Luckily, you don't have to take a boat to get there either.

Grab your small prop and join the likes of Mokulele Airlines as you shuffle back and forth between Honolulu and Mololokai!

All pilots please review the following!!!

If you are flying VFR out of HNL it's going to make it a much smoother flight by utilizing the Freeway or Punchbowl VFR Departures if we are using 04 or the Kona if we are using 22 (weather is still up in the air so...) The frequencies as published are not the ones to expect. You will be assigned the dep freq with your Class B clearance.

Linked below are the documentation on it and a chart supplement for HNL. I will be on HNL TWR over the next couple of nights from around 00z or 01z until 0430z if you wish to ask questions or practice these procedures. Thank you!
