All,

The revitalized VATUSA Data Services and Integration team is hard at work with multiple projects already in progress.  One project is a revitalized website.  I\\\'d love to get some public input on either updating, or not, the VATUSA logo.  Please see the logos below and vote in the poll for your favorite.  Pay no attention to the size (I am just too lazy to resize them).  Thanks!

1.

Thanks!

I didn't think #1 would ever be considered an option as I just made that as a placeholder, haha.  I can change the color(s), etc pretty easily.

One thing I'd request is a height not greather than 100px, and a width not greater than 450px.  Anything larger would unnecessarily increase the size of pages.  But if a logo is selected larger, please make it scalable.

One thing I do not like about #5 is its size.  It's a big tall.

Can always be adjusted. If you want the PSD, PM me.

Sounds good, thanks.  We'll see what the voters say.

One project is a revitalized website.

Please tell that another project is to change the forums to something which doesn't have a dark background!

This goes for both the forums and some of the suggested logos: we do not live in 1900s! The era of "hey everyone does a white background, but I'm going to make it special and give it a dark background" has passed. The era of "let's have 10 colors and 20 lines in our logo" has also passed. Simplicity and standardization are now key parts of web design. I'm sure VATUSA6 and VATUSA12 would agree.

It was part of our discussions, yes.  I'm sure Cliff would agree, but I know the design I'm working on focuses on lighter backgrounds and I think Cliff is following with the forum design.

Went with 5 but I think there could be better. #2 (the current leader) is way too busy.

Hey... a new candidate entered the race after some of the voters already cast their ballots. I smell voter fraud!! I see this ending in lengthy litigation.

What, you can't change your vote?  I can't find any settings in the admin panel to allow you to....  I'm so sick of this forum software.  That said, it won't be here too much longer.....
