Hello Mr.Davies,

The preferred controller client at the moment would still be the old-timer, VRC. It is the easiest in my eyes to use for cab controlling and Radar here and there. But if you are coming back to be a radar controller lets say and would like a challenge, I would suggest VSTARS. It is a great client for TRACON.

You will also need the new audio client due to we do not use VRC to communicate with pilots anymore.

Hi Dean,

From experience it can take 2-3 days for the ARTCC to do everything they need to do before sending you an email saying you’ve been accepted and added to the roster.

Bring your favorite GA plane and be ready for full ATC staffing at both Buffalo (KBUF) and Erie (KERI) airports courtesy of our training partners Cleveland ARTCC!
