General Discussion / Where to find the vZTL .sct2 Files
« on: August 17, 2011, 06:03:12 PM »
Ok before this get blown out of proportion Gary is partially incorrect because not all the fact have been given to him I figured he’s predecessor would at least given him the heads up, all of our RW info (doc’s sop’s loa’s etc) has been obtained via the FOIA and at the request of our former TA and AFE is was asked to be keep under lock and key, although it was obtained via the FOIA the material contains sensitive information.  It was also mention that there was a VATUSA policy or rule, if there is I wish it was properly shown, so where abouts' it can be found easily because I can’t find anything. If there is one I’ll stand correct and a quick change will be done to our website (No biggie), but if there isn’t we will continue to operation as we have been before, until we are told otherwise by a higher power(VATUSA HQ etc). Like Gary said before there is nothing stopping any controller from requesting VC status and obtaining the files he or she wishes.

Yeah, I ran the ATADS data for all of 2010 about 2 days ago, which should be completely updated.  Out of dumb curiosity, I'm going to compare the actual traffic counts and see where the two lists differ.  I go with ATADS as being the most accurate, but who knows.

Brendan, it is indeed the FAA list.  The OP mentioned ZOB real world, so I just wanted to post the actual list for those who were curious.

On VATSIM, CLT looks like it averages around 15 movements a day, which isn't going to put it anywhere close to the Top 10.

@Bryan Yea we are working on that bit, CLT's big sister tends to steal the show from it  , and @Brendan if charlotte becomes a "VATSIM Major" i don't believe it will effect  it by much, i'm not saying we are not trying to make it one,  its just a very long process.

Virtual Airlines / Contact Info Updates

Hi VA Staff!!!

As USA5, I need an updated contact list for VAs. Please send your current email info to [email protected]

Please tell your friends who are staff on other VAs to send their info as well. Thanks.

Hey Matt is there any chance VATUSA  EC’s or just myself may get a copy of that list because when trying to advertise an event I find it a pain in the butt. To go through the VA partner’s site then search each VA page and look for their “current” EC email address. Their also another problem no pun intended but most VA's that I know go through EC's faster than ARTCC's do or at least it seems like that. so how can that list be maintained and updated annually or semi-annually.
