Events / [IDEA] Transcontinental fly-in
« on: November 06, 2014, 08:22:14 PM »
Hmm... I like this idea. To be honest, it kind of reminds me of Light Up America. LUA isn't necessarily for transcontinental flights, however, because all of the US is pretty much fully staffed, it gives the opportunity for transcontinental flights with full ATC coverage and a lot of pilots use the event for that purpose. Regardless, if VATUSA wants to host an event specifically for transcontinental and use the same concept of lighting up all of the US, I'd totally be in. Sounds like fun!

What DK said!

From my post in the vZBW forum: [!--quoteo--][div class=\\\'quotetop\\\']QUOTE [/div][div class=\\\'quotemain\\\'][!--quotec--]I had an awesome time guys. Real honor to be able to participate, especially at the center level. I think everyone involved did an extremely great job with preparation and planning and then actually taking action, of course. Worked out very well and resulted in a LOT of fun. Can't wait for next time![/quote]

So, again, fantastic job to everyone involved.
