If anyone is interested in the planned memorial service, it will be in Laguna Niguel, CA. Matt's friend, Will, is also putting together a remembrance that he will forward to Matt's family. If you have something you'd like to contribute or to get details on the service, you can reach out to Will: _skyhawk on discord or [email protected].

NOTAMs / Rest in Peace Matthew Chicoine
« Last post by Matthew Kramer on Today at 01:51:07 PM »
Friends, it is with a heavy heart that I must deliver the news that long-time VATSIM contributor, controller, and friend Matt Chicoine has sadly passed away from cancer. A staple of ZLA Live along with his dog, a stalwart ZOA controller, a lifelong lover of aviation, and one of the most kind and gentle humans I've ever had the pleasure to know, Matt brought a joy and optimism to our community that was so uniquely his own. From controlling ZOA with us late into the night, or flying all sorts of fun and interesting approaches as ASA and WJA720, Matt's passion for the hobby and sheer happiness of being on the network will be sorely missed.

Love you, Matt.
