Events / [September 6th 2019] ZID FNO: Freight Hauler Showdown

No matter if your favorite color is brown, purple, blue or yellow, or something else entirely, the Indianapolis ARTCC sees them all. Louisville Int’l is home to UPS Worldport, Indianapolis Int’l hosts the 2nd largest FedEx hub and Cincinnati Int’l hosts a variety of carriers including DHL, Polar Air Cargo, and Atlas who also operates Prime Air flights for Amazon. These are just the names many of us hear most often. And the big question is, who moves the most [virtual] freight? Freight haulers, it’s time to stand up and be counted.
On Friday, September 6th, the Indianapolis ARTCC will host FNO from 2359-0400z. We will be staffing all three of these airports (KCVG/KIND/KSDF) ready to receive cargo and passenger service alike. Fly your color proudly as you show your support for your team.

First welcome to VATUSA! I saw that you have passed your basic ATC exam assigned by the division but you have not yet chosen an ARTCC to join. Under the My Profile dropdown on VATUSA’s website there should be a link that says join a facility. Feel free to reach out to any ARTCCs you may be interested in joining to get a better feel if it will be a good fit for you. Look forward to seeing you on the scopes soon!
