Title: FNO Fly Sacramento! [1700PST-2100PST]
Post by: Antony Radley on May 01, 2018, 06:32:22 PM

Come join Oakland ARTCC as we put the spotlight on KSMF, feel free to bring the IFR/VFR traffic as we staff up NorCal for your friday night fun! We will have the focus on SMF, but will endeavour to have some more airports staffed up for your pleasure, as well as SFO (of course). A fun short flight from SFO-SMF, is always a fun idea!

Please note SMF is quite an outdated airport in some simulators, so if you could take time to update the AFCAD that would be appreciated. Links to some scenery in Pilot Brief.

One of our controllers wrote up a Pilot brief to check out;

We will begin staffing around 5pm PST and go till around 9pm PST.

Hope to see you all there !

Unfortunately the freeware link seems to give me an error from AVsim.  Not sure if that's a transient failure or not.

Will there be a timelapse?

I'm thinking of working on one with my positions, but it more or less shows what went down in the entire TRACON area.

I recorded the majority of the event under a tracon and tower view.
