Job Opening Announcement: DICE Team Staff

VATUSA is seeking qualified candidates interested in joining the DICE Team as Instructors. The DICE Team plays a crucial role in developing Training Material and providing Instruction to S3 Students who are working towards their C1 rating through the DICE Program.


Please be aware that the DICE Team positions are not required to transfer to ZHQ.

Applicants will be added to an open pool of candidates and may be contacted when additional DICE team members are needed. Even if candidates do not currently meet all the requirements, they are encouraged to apply if they are highly motivated for the position and expect to remain interested in contributing for the foreseeable future.

Incentives: Possible C3 Rating upgrade after 12 months of continued service to the DICE program. (Subject to VATUSA1 Approval & Activity Policy.)

The DICE Instructor's primary responsibility is to develop material for the DICE program and provide instruction to DICE students working towards their C1 rating.


Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of DICE academic materials.

Conduct DICE Training Sessions using the Sweatbox platform.
Monitor and analyze student progress.
Utilize provided information and student statistics to enhance the training experience.

Requirements for the Role:

Experience as a training staff member at a VATUSA facility.

The Training Administrator is responsible for ensuring the success of the ZAU training program. We're looking for a knowledgeable, professional, energetic and dedicated person for this role.

Have held a rating of I1 for at least 30 days at any given time prior to hiring date
Capable of working well in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Current I1 rating or higher
Instructor/Mentor experience
Previous or current ARTCC senior staff experience
