Purpose:
The Virtual Jacksonville ARTCC is looking for a motivated individual who possesses a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Virtual Jacksonville ARTCC Event Coordinator. We are looking for an individual who is willing to commit to this position long-term.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to and serves at the pleasure of the ATM and DATM.
- Maintains an online presence within the facility and on the VATSIM network.
- Manages the Virtual Jacksonville ARTCC Events Team.
- Functions as an ARTCC junior staff member and attends meetings as necessary.
- Responsible for overview, development, and implementation of all ARTCC events and materials.
- Develop traffic management initiatives.
- Conducting event briefings.
- Identifies and develops events to generate traffic and promote the ARTCCs.
- Develop and distribute marketing materials to promote ARTCC events.
- Implements and oversees approved events.
- Acts as CIC or TMU during ARTCC events when able, or designates a replacement on their behalf.
- Coordinates with neighboring ARTCCs to arrange support for local events.
- Coordinates with neighboring ARTCCs to provide vZJX support.
- Maintains relationships with VAs and coordinates support for VA events.
- Works in conjunction with facility senior staff to plan, coordinate, attend and execute an annual in-person event located in the USA.

Requirements:
- Must hold at least an S3 rating (C1 rating is preferred).
- Must be an active member of the VATSIM network in good standing.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and manage a team.

Preferred Skills:
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience (real world or VATSIM applicable).
- Familiarity with Jacksonville policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate the qualities of understanding, patience, restraint, and professionalism.
- Have previous experience working with an event team.

Purpose:
The Miami ARTCC is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the Miami ARTCC Training Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to and serves at the pleasure of the Miami ARTCC Air Traffic Manager and VATUSA3
- Maintains an online presence within the facility and on the VATSIM network
- Operates as a Miami ARTCC senior staff member and attends meetings as required
- Manages and creates training material for both home and visiting controllers in accordance with VATUSA and VATSIM guidelines
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the training department
- Leads and develops a team of mentors and instructors
- Other duties as assigned or delegated by the Miami ARTCC ATM

Requirements:
- Must hold at least a C1 rating for at least 90 days prior to the date of application submission
- Must be eligible to hold an I3 rating
- Must be an active member of the VATSIM network in good standing with no significant disciplinary history within the past 12 months
- Must have a strong knowledge of the United States National Airspace System and Air Traffic Control systems
- Must have current or previous VATSIM training experience
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment and effectively manage a large team
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities

Preferred Skills:
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience (real world or VATSIM applicable)
- Familiarity with Miami ARTCC policies and procedures
- Demonstrate the qualities of understanding, patience, restraint, and professionalism

Purpose:
The Miami ARTCC is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Miami ARTCC Deputy Air Traffic Manager position, who will contribute to the growth of the Miami ARTCC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Air Traffic Manager
- Manages and oversees the Web, Facilities, and Events departments
- Maintains an active online presence within the ARTCC
- Assumes the duties of the ATM position in his absence
- Attends meetings as required to report ARTCC activities
- Assists in the development and implementation of ARTCC initiatives
- Any other duties as assigned by the Air Traffic Manager


Minimum Requirements:
- Currently hold a C1 rating or higher for at least 90 days prior to the application date
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Be an active member of the VATSIM community with no significant disciplinary history within the past 12 months
- Strong leadership skills
- Work in collaboration with neighboring facilities and divisions to create and support new opportunities for the ARTCC
- Monitor daily activity of the ARTCC
- Ability to maintain controller activity as outlined in the Miami ARTCC D01 SOP
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. Airspace and Air Traffic Control system and procedures
- Strong understanding of the Webmaster, Facility Engineer, and Event Coordinator positions

Preferred Skills:
- Prior ATC Mentor/Instructor experience
- Teaching/Education experience (on or off VATSIM)
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience (real world or VATSIM applicable)
- Demonstrates a professional and patient attitude
- Understanding of the Miami ARTCC community
- Prior staff experience
