Title: Position Vacancy: Jacksonville Facilities Engineer

We're building a visionary ARTCC at Jacksonville (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gfEAD5vO7JunfUcphto_k3pVgsxLnVB6/view?usp=sharing). To help build this ARTCC, we're seeking a qualified, professional, and motivated individual to fill the role of Facilities Engineer. In the next few months, the individual will play a critical role in revolutionizing Jacksonville's facility files, to provide our controllers with the best experience possible.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining an online presence within the facility and on the VATSIM network.
- Attending staff meetings.
- Maintaining and updating sector files for all approved ATC client software, updating at least every other AIRAC cycle.
- Maintaining vATIS configuration files.
- Maintaining POF and alias files.
- Coordinating with adjacent ARTCCs as required, specifically relating to frequency issues.
- Ensuring established SOPs and LOAs are fully represented within sector files and other procedures.
- All other responsibilities which help to accomplish the mission, goals, and vision of ZJX.

Key Requirements
- Have knowledge of VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, and vATIS.
- Possess a high degree of energy and commitment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
- Have no significant disciplinary record.
- Have no history of unprofessional behavior.
- Be in good standing on the VATSIM network.
- Be a home controller at the time of appointment.
