Events / [2 March 2019 1800-2200z] Cleveland Live Meet-Up 2019

Cleveland! The heart of our ARTCC, and home to many of our controllers! Join us as we meet up for a live event staffing up KCLE! This meet-up, while spontaneous, will have Center, Approach, Tower, and Ground all gathered in 1 location, controlling together, for a great event!! Plus, with Miami's event later this evening, Cleveland is a perfect opportunity as a departure to arrive just in time for Miami's event!!

The event will run from 1800 to 2200z (1 PM to 5 PM eastern time), and is only covering KCLE (Cleveland-Hopkins).

Hope to see you all there!!

Hahaha at our controller briefing it was noticed as well. Thankfully correct though very much right before the start time. I tried to pull the data from airnav but messed it up!  ;D

Cleveland ARTCC is known for some interesting weather, and Toledo is celebrating this with the Fire and Ice festival! This outdoor festival features a variety of activities, performances, and demonstrations for all ages! It includes ice sculptures, cook-offs, flame throwers, magicians, a mobile escape room, and plenty more! In honor of this exciting event, join us as we staff up Toledo Express from 1800 to 2200 Zulu on Saturday, February 23rd for a fun-filled day around Toledo!!

Come join Cleveland ARTCC as we celebrate this weekend's Pittsburgh marathon. The 2019 Pittsburgh marathon runs from Friday the 3rd and ends on Sunday the 5th. The marathon features it's iconic 26.2 mile run with 24 miles of riverfront trails, beautiful parks, historic attractions, and home to 90 neighborhoods! There are also the half marathon, relay, 5k, Kids marathon, toddler trot, and pet walk! There is a lot to do this weekend in Pittsburgh so fly on in with us Thursday night as we get our running shoes on for one amazing weekend!

Join Cleveland ARTCC for an evening sunset on lake Erie! Featuring Cleveland's Burke-Lakefront airport (right on the shores of the lake), and Buffalo-Niagara, there is plenty to see! And with Lakefront, you get an incredible view of the shore, and of downtown Cleveland. You also get an added challenge with the airport being on the ILS for Cleveland-Hopkins. The event starts at 2200 Zulu (5 PM EST time) and ends at 0200 Zulu (9PM EST). Bring your VFR for all the views around the lake, or go IFR with plenty of destinations from the area! We hope to see you all there!
