This was done to help those new to flying fly a rectangular pattern in a small Single Engined aircraft.

I am not happy unless someone is doing touch and go's in the pattern.

Dave, nice video.  I never thought of using roads as reference points for my turns.  But, I guess that is why they call it VFR.

Until I saw this I never realized how close to the airport you stay while in the pattern, I used to go 3 or 4 miles out on my downwind.
