Title: VATUSA Logo Design Competition

Calling all Designers!!!

We are looking at a possible redesign of the VATUSA logo and would like
to extend, to you the members, the opportunity for input in the
design.

Lets get the legalities out of the way:

• All entries become property of VATUSA upon submission.
• All work must be original.
• Entries containing copywritten material will be disqualified.  This
  does NOT include public domain images.

Competition Rules:

• Submissions should be natively 300DPI
• Submissions should be in the .png format with transparency
• Submissions do not need to be of any specific dimensions, however the dimensions should have a ratio of 1 x .93
• Submissions do NOT need to contain the words VATUSA or VATSIM

Entries and/or questions should be submitted to [email protected].
Entries submitted via any other method will not be considered.

The competition will run for 3 months to end on 05/13/2012 at 0000Z

First, I don't have the technical prowess (or time these days) to do that kinda stuff.  I am now the old fart I used to despise 20 years ago.
Second, I still like the current design.
So I offer a thought -- if no one is interested in designing a new one, let's close out the contest due to lack of interest, and keep the existing logo.

The contest has just over a month to go.  If there are no submissions at the end, then the current logo will stand.  If there ARE submissions at the end, the current logo will be included in the voting process.
