Join the Albuquerque ARTCC as we host our "Super Bowl XLIX in Phoenix" event! Fly your heavy metal full of fans into Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX)! Or fly your bizjets into one of our TEN class D satellite airports that will all be staffed. They include: Scottsdale (SDL), Deer Valley (DVT), Glendale (GEU), Phoenix-Mesa Gateway (IWA), Chandler (CHD), Goodyear (GYR), Falcon Field (FFZ), Luke Air Force Base (LUF), as well as Prescott (PRC) and Flagstaff (FLG) in Northern Arizona.

If you'd like to show your support for your favorite team, put either an "S" or "P" at the end of your callsign/tail number;

"S" for the Seattle Seahawks, and "P" for the New England Patriots.

VFR traffic, like BLIMPS and banner tows are also more than welcome! Come have a great time.

The event runs from 2359Z-0400Z on Saturday, January 31st, 2015.

My head hurts. What a turnout! Thanks all. Even if Captain America himself had a hard time getting off the ground in Tucson right after the south center controller's cat ran across his power strip and shut everything off. Right when we started holding too! "Cat Shuts Down Air Traffic Facility".

She was on my "crap"-list for a while after that. A 7lb cat shut down the entire south center. Almost got herself snapped in half. Cutest little cat you ever saw though.
