Anchorage is VATUSA's largest Continental US ARTCC. We have over 2 million square miles of airspace open to explore, with everything but the Pacific Fjords in the southeast, glaciers across the state, arctic tundra of the north, and the real bush experience. Anchorage is a growing ARTCC with a need of someone energetic and committed to helping continue the growth that we have experienced.

Duties:
- Reports to the DATM
- Maintains an active online presence within ZAN and the network
- Attends staff meetings as called by the ZAN Senior Staff
- Creates, maintains, and updates sector files, alias files, POF files, vATIS files, and inter-facility LOAs
- Creates, maintains, and updates scenario files in coordination with the ZAN Training Administrator
- Coordinates with ZAN and other ARTCC staff to manage frequency and automation problems
- Review and recommend the use of other controller tools for implementation
- All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- Must hold a minimum of an S2 rating
- Be an active member of the network in good standing
- Be a member of ZAN, or willing to transfer upon selection
- Be skilled with VRC, vSTARS and vERAM
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have a high degree of commitment and motivation

Highly Desired Skills:
- Possesses an S3+ rating
- Possess experience and certification within ZAN
- Have knowledge of GeoJSON
- Have previous Facility Engineer experience
- Have experience with CRC configuration
- Have experience with Audio For VATSIM StationEditor

What To Expect:
This is an entry-level position. The workload overall is fairly light, with scheduled updates of navigation data, procedures, etc. Candidates not familiar with certain aspects will receive guidance and assistance in learning the tools.
