VATUSA and VATSIM are proud to announce our participation at FlightSimExpo 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. We have been working with the team at FlightSimExpo for the past couple of months to determine how our community best fits within the conference.
VATSIM will be represented in a two tiered approach consisting of pilot communities and Air Traffic Control communities. Multiple pilot communities such as VATSTAR, BVA, and various virtual airlines will represent all of the flying opportunities available on VATSIM. VATUSA will be representing all 22 of our ARTCCs on the convention floor with a live ATC display team comprised of our controllers from all over the country. This team will demonstrate the Air Traffic Control opportunities on our network and work to recruit new controllers for all facilities.
VATUSA controllers interested in participating on the VATUSA demonstration team should check the VATUSA forums within the next week for information on how to apply to be a part of the demonstration team.
All VATUSA members are encouraged to join us in Las Vegas, for what will surely be the largest meetup of the year!

As many will know, the conference was formed by a group of community organizers from a VATUSA facility who have years of experience in flight simulation, aviation, and event planning. FlightSimExpo plans to bring simulation enthusiasts, current and former aviation professionals, and anyone else who has an interest in flight simulation or aviation together to witness the advances and developments within the industry. The conference is truly community-driven, and the venue, host city, and event activities have all been established in response to feedback from the community and developers.
