The Honolulu Control Facility is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Events Coordinator. Those seeking to apply see applicable responsibilities and requirements below.

Job Description:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and execution of events at the ARTCC. The Events Coordinator position requires a considerable amount of work to include up to 5 hours per week executing assigned duties.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Reports to the DATM.
- Lead the events team to provide support for HCF event operations.
- Identifies and develops events to generate traffic and promote the ARTCC.
- Implements and oversees approved events.
- Work closely with the training department to prepare our members for event positions.
- Coordinates with neighboring ARTCC to arrange support for HCF hosted events and neighboring events.
- Coordinates with VATUSA Command Center for event planning, traffic expectations, event execution, and debrief.
- Develops and distributes marketing materials to promote events and the ARTCC.

Minimum Requirements:

 - Must hold S2+ Rating. MUST obtain at least S3 rating within 60 days of appointment.
 - Must have no disciplinary record with VATSIM, VATUSA, or HCF within the last year.
 - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as this is a client-facing position.
 - Ability to network with neighboring facilities.

Desired Qualifications:

 - C1 Rating preferred
 - Knowledge of the HCF airspace and typical traffic loads in various event situations
 - Experience/talent in graphic design, typography, etc.
 - Experience with event planning of any type
 - Knowledge of Oceanic Procedures

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Prior I1 experience.

Please join me in welcoming Daniel Hawton as our newest DATM. Daniel has been working hard in the back ground as ZAN's WM and has finished developing websites for ZDV, HCF and ZAN. Afterwards he stepped up and rewrote SOPs and revamped our sector files, vERAM and vSTARS profiles. I am excited to have Daniel in the role and am fully confident that ZAN will continue to grow!

Anchorage ARTCC (ZAN) is currently seeking applicants for the position of Deputy Air Traffic Manager.

Duties:

The Deputy Air Traffic Manager is second in command of the oversight and administration of the ARTCC. The DATM’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•   Reports to the ATM
•   Front-Line Manager to the Facilities, Events, and Technical (Web) departments
•   Monitors the day-to-day activities of the ARTCC.
•   Assists in the development and execution of ARTCC projects.
•   Maintains an online presence on the VATSIM server.
•   Functions as ARTCC senior staff member. Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities.
•   Assists in coordination of position assignments and position restrictions when necessary.
•   Assumes the duties of the ATM when he is unavailable.
•   Any other duty assigned by the ATM

Minimum Requirements:

Must have verified consecutive dedication as a home controller for a single ARTCC
Be an active member of the network in good standing
Currently holds a C1 rating or above
Be able to work well in a team-oriented environment
Have excellent written and oral communication skills
Possess maturity, good judgment, and leadership skills
Have no disciplinary issues within the last two years

Highly Desired Skills:

Possess a high degree of commitment, motivation, and attention to detail.
Have previous leadership experience in a VATSIM ATC facility
Have a good working knowledge of the ZAN and neighbor facility airspace and organizational structure

Please join me in welcoming back to ZAN Daniel Hawton who is serving as our new webmaster. Daniel has extensive knowledge in computers and I know he will do great things. In addition, please also welcome Joshua Cramer who is the new FE for HCF, Josh has been an active controller and has background with coding. Both Josh and Daniel will be fulfilling their roles in both facilities.  Our future is looking bright and I am excited to see where it takes us.

-Implements a new back-end and front-end structure for the PCF Website;

-Reports to the PCF DATM.

Requirements:
-An active member of PCF or willing to transfer to PCF if selected;

PCF is searching for a Deputy Air Traffic Manager. The DATM assists the ATM in the day-to-day management and leadership of the ARTCC. We're searching for someone motivated, active, and experienced to fill the role.
