Job Title: Event’s Coordinator
Location: Fort Worth and all ATC facilities within its area of control.

Fort Worth is looking for a motivated individual that possesses a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Event’s Coordinator.

Job Requirements:
●   Serves as a Leader to coach and motivate controllers while upholding a culture that builds exceptional internal and external pilot experiences.
●   Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
●   Works in collaboration with Virtual Airlines and other VATUSA ARTCC’s to leverage synergy opportunities across the United States.
●   Coordinates with neighboring ARTCCs to arrange support for ZFW-hosted events, and arranges ZFW support for neighboring events.
●   Develops and distributes marketing material (graphics, news posts, forum posts, etc) to promote events and the ARTCC.
●   Supports the recruitment, retention and development of a diverse range of talented people.
●   Holds self and others accountable to high performance standards while providing pilots with memorable experiences.
●   Understands and drives appropriate metrics to assess controller performance within the Event’s environment.
●   Ability to listen to feedback and take constructive action.
●   Maintains an online presence on the VATSIM server and ZFW TeamSpeak.
●   Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities.

Application Requirements:

●   Must have at least an S3 rating. C1 controllers preferred.
●   Must abide by the minimum required hours as dictated in the ZFW SOP
●   Must be an active member of the network in good standing.
●   Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
●   Must be able to work in a team environment.
●   Must be available for regular correspondence (via the primary means of e-mail), as well as routinely checking VATUSA forums and other outlets for official notices.
Candidates can expect an initial evaluation of their application after which they may be contacted for a comprehensive interview.
