Title: Setting up my scope, sweatbox

Hello, I'm a newbie and I just got to the lessons on how to set up my scope. Everything went well until I got to the part about setting up the sweatbox. I kinda got lost when trying yo create the myservers.txt file. When I tried to create this file it seemed to be on a notepad and not a real file. Is this something I need to wait on until I have been assigned an instructor or, if not can you tell me what I might be doing wrong? I must admit that computers a not a strong point for me.

Hi Doug!

Welcome to VATUSA (and to ZJX)!  When you download the myservers file from the link on the CBT, you shouldn't need to open it; simply place it in the base VRC directory (folder) where you should also see a "servers" text file (among others).  If you're still having trouble, please let one of our staff know directly.  You can reach us via email or (preferably) join the  facility Discord server.
