Virtual Airlines / MedStar Aviation Hiring EMS Pilots
« on: February 25, 2011, 07:53:52 PM »
About MedStar Aviation:
MedStar Aviation is a new VA, started in late December 2010, based at Ellington Field, KEFD.  We transport Organs, Patients, and a special, charitable, patient transport program, the Angel Flight program, which provides transport for patients in rural areas to hospitals at little or no cost to the patient and/or family.  We operate both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, with no training (Unless requested or you want to join the SAR wing, which is currently under development).  For those who simply want to operate rotary wing aircraft without SAR, a quick proficiency checkride is all you need (So you don't totally ruin the reputation of MedStar and crash the aircraft half the time you fly).  We operate mainly in Texas and Mexico, though flights can be made wherever you want.  We fly mostly non-scheduled, on-demand flights, though we do have scheduled flights available.

The Control Room Floor / Facility Engineer?
« on: February 25, 2011, 07:38:36 PM »
I was checking over the staff page of vZTL, and noticed a vacant slot in the page, with the title of Facility Engineer.  My question is, what the heck is an FE?

Virtual Airlines / Would you join?
« on: November 23, 2010, 04:59:51 PM »
I recently had the idea for a new, Heli only, VA.  (Technically a VSOA-Civ. Gov't)  The VA would consist of pilots, flying out of the major city of their choice, Helis, replicating the day to day duties of a Police Department Pilot.  If you would be interested, great.  Biggest need is a webmaster, I have absolutely no idea how to do anything more than a wordpress.  Cities I was thinking of starting with, more to come if we can get enough interest:
Charlotte
New York
Houston
Philly
LA
Only requirements are basic heli skills and a Heli used by the city you picked.
