Get ready for a journey across the continent as VATUSA presents the 2022 edition of TRANSCON Eastbound on July 23. Find your slot, pick your aircraft, and prepare for a trip from west to east. Hundreds of slots over a three hour departure period are available for your choosing between the fields listed below. Slots are available for reservation here: https://vats.im/transcon (https://vats.im/transcon)
https://transcon.denartcc.org (https://transcon.denartcc.org)

Departure Fields:
KSEA
KDEN
KSFO
KLAX

Arrival Fields:
KBOS
KBDL
KDTW
KJFK
KDCA
KATL
KMCO

Midpoint Fields (both departures and arrivals):
KIAH
KDFW
KSTL


LAX, SFO, and SEA will have slots with scheduled departure times from 1530 to 2045z.
IAH, DEN, and DFW will have slots with scheduled departure times from 1715 to 2205z.
STL will have slots with scheduled departure times from 1830 to 2200z.

All slots have scheduled arrival times between 2030 and 2330z.

My guess is that slots won't be open until tonight around 10pm EST

So the post says that there will be slots available as of yesterday, but where is the listing????

I apologize for the delay and failure to meet our previously announced slot opening day.

The web team has a lot of projects at hand and they are working on publishing the slot database and registration to the site.

All slot times are in UTC/Zulu time

Hi! Looking forward to the event. Are the departure times off-block/pushback times or are they true departure times/slot times?

I have 19:41 from IAH. So the question is: should I plan to push at 19:41 or plan to be taking off at 19:41 (which would mean an off-block time of around 19:21)?

Pretty sure I saw a discussion on the VATUSA Discord which concluded that the times on the site are wheels-up times.

Had a blast controlling this event in ZMP. Seemed like conga lines and enroute spacing balanced perfectly with enough variability to keep us on our toes. Thanks to everyone who put in the planning for this event, hopefully you guys will consider doing it annually, with a westbound version as well!
