Virtual Airlines / Omni Air Opens its Doors!
« on: March 10, 2014, 11:20:34 AM »
THIS VA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!

Flying payware aircraft and scenery (ORBX).

We assign flights.

We allow time compression for flights over two hours and the pilot gets credit for the simulated time not actual flying time.

We have very short flights.

We offer sightseeing flights and the ability to give airplane rides.

The largest plane right now is the B200.

We use VAFS

How you fly maters.

Virtual Airlines / Looking for a specific VA
« on: August 30, 2013, 09:44:32 AM »
I'm looking for a VA that does/keeps track of things like this:

On time performance.. being late would affect your pilot rating or something like that.

and where fuel planning is important and matters.

so many VA's only hours matter.

I don't care about finances..

this is not necessary, but it would be nice to have the a/c cycled into maintenance when needed etc.

any such VA?

The Flight Deck / confused a bit about non controlled airports..

I fly in the PNW area and I fly a lot to little uncontrolled airstrips.

If say Seattle center is controlling, do I still have to go through him? or can I just make my calls on 122.8? (I"m using FSINN)

I understand that after take off I can contact center if I want flight following, yes? But, I'm not required to, yes?
