There's value when you're teaching a student who's new to ATC after this change takes effect. Telling a new S3 to not send aircraft direct to a fix if they aren't RNAV-capable becomes a problem if the pilot filed an old suffix that doesn't exist in the latest equipment suffix table.

Brian,

As per Don's post here, VATUSA will be re-assigning any tests that may have expired (or will expire shortly) due to the recent network outage.

If you were never assigned the S2 exam, that can be done by ZLA instructors... assuming the VATUSA exam center is fully up and running at this time. Stop by on TeamSpeak and we will get you sorted out.
